diocese to teach religion.
Congratulations to
soon-to-be eight grader Emily Spies who has been named winner
of an $800 Bishop's Scholarship for Excellence from the Diocese
of Cleveland. Emily wrote an essay as party of the criteria
for her selection; it was based on the theme: "Jesus said
He came to serve. What does that mean to you in your life?"
and she was one of 16 recipients from many applicants across our
8-county diocesan area. Emily will be honored at a luncheon
with Bishop Lennon, the Diocesan Superintendent of schools and
our Regional Superintendent, Anne Marie Woyma, on July 30th. WELL
DONE, EMILY!
